Nikodemus Jaya

Nikodemus has more than five years of experience in corporate finance, private equity and venture capital investment.
He joined the team in October 2018.
Prior to joining Vertex, Nikodemus was with Aetius Capital, a Singapore-based venture-builder firm that invests and accelerates early-stage companies in the technology sector.
He was actively involved in deal sourcing, due diligence, portfolio management and developing a deal process framework to ensure a structured deal development tracking system.
His sector focus includes fintech, insuretech, e-Commerce, media, logistics, agritech, cybersecurity and IoT.
Prior to that, Nikodemus was also with TRIREC Capital, a Singapore cleantech and renewable energy-focused investment firm.
He coordinated various investments, as well as handled investor relations and corporate governance.
He was also closely involved in capital structuring and business development of the portfolio companies, which includes project financing, debt securitization, regulatory compliance and operations audit.
In addition, he has previously joined Thirdrock Group, a Singapore-based multi-family office (recently acquired by Schroders) and was involved in M&A deals, fundraising (debt and equity), shareholders dispute advisory, as well as divestments and deals restructuring, primarily in Asia Pacific region.
Nikodemus graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours), specializing in Finance.
