Philippe Besnier served as the Chief Executive Officer of France Telecom Cable SA from 1992 to 2000, and as the Chief Executive Officer of UPC France SA from 2000 to 2004.
He later became the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Altice France SA, and also worked as the Regional Commercial Director of Orange SA. Besnier currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Altice Europe NV.
He received his undergraduate degree from ESSEC Business School, the University of Nantes, and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Postes et Télécommunications.
