Mr. Prince Owusu is a Senior Economist at AERIC, Inc. Mr. Owusu has broad experience in modeling, economic forecasting, and current economic analysis of the provincial economies.
Currently he provides economic analysis for the energy dependent economies of Newfoundland and Labrador and Alberta along with contributing to the energy sector forecast.
Since joining the Conference Board in 2001, he had responsibility of providing economic analysis for different provinces and sectors of the Canadian economy.
Earlier in his career here at the Conference Board, he covered the Maritime Provinces along with demographic, labour market and the trade sectors for the Provincial Outlook Service.
Along with economic forecast, Mr. Owusu has performed many socio-economic impact studies in order to quantity the effects of changes in public policy and private sector initiatives on the Canadian economy and has provided training in econometric modeling to a number of government agencies.
He holds an MA Economics degree from the University of Saskatchewan (2000) and BA (Honours) degree from the University of Ghana (1996).
