Santhosh Varadarajan

Santhosh Varadarajan joined Flagship Pioneering in 2022 as Director of Procurement, CMC & External Manufacturing.
In this role, he is responsible for creating and deploying the category strategy around CMC for the Flagship Pioneering network.
Santhosh has served in a variety of biotech roles from project management to procurement and was most recently an Associate Director of CMC Procurement for Akebia Therapeutics.
He was previously Manager of External Manufacturing at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals and Project Manager at Thermo-Fisher, and also held roles in Formulation at Johnson & Johnson and Bausch & Lomb.
Santhosh received his B.S.
in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and his M.B.A.
from Rochester Institute of Technology.
