Ms. Sonia H.
Mintun, CFA, is Managing Director & Portfolio Manager at Ancora Advisors LLC.
She joined the firm as Portfolio Manager.
She manages individual and institutional accounts and is responsible for the firms High Dividend Strategy.
She also provides research on large cap value and Family Wealth strategies.
Prior to joining Ancora Advisors in 2008, Ms. Mintun was a Vice President and portfolio manager for First Fiduciary Investment Counsel.
In addition to managing accounts and researching companies, she was the Chief Compliance Officer for the firm.
Prior to joining First Fiduciary in 2004, she was a portfolio manager and analyst for The Proper Analysis.
She served on the Board of Trustees for the Lehigh University Alumni Association and was the President of the Northern Ohio Lehigh Alumni Association.
She also served on the Leadership Committee at Hawken School.
She previously was a writer for Street Insights, a subsidiary of theStreet.com.
She began her career in 1983 working for Bernstein Macaulay in New York City as an Assistant Vice President and portfolio manager on their high grade and high yield fixed income products for six years.
During that time, she was the portfolio manager for a $200+ million closed end mutual bond fund.
In addition, she has worked as a portfolio manager and head trader for Westinghouse where she raised over $200 million through a collateralized debt obligation.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting & Finance from Lehigh University.
She also holds the CFA designation and is a member of the CFA Society of Cleveland.
