Arlon provides discretionary investment advisory services to private equity funds both directly and through investment advisory affiliates under their supervision and control. The funds generally make or have made direct investments in the following broad categories: (a) private companies, either as lead investor or as a co-investor alongside other long-term investors which may include Continental Grain Company; (b) private equity funds and hedge funds managed by unaffiliated managers; (c) capital for a stake in an affiliated manager’s management entity; and (d) other investments that Arlon believes will yield attractive returns.
