Thomas Steger

Dr. Thomas Steger is a Research Professor at Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung Halle.
He joined the institute as a Research Professor in March 2012.
His research focuses on growth, development, and technological change, quantitative macroeconomic modeling, and open economy macroeconomics.
Before that, he was an Assistant Professor at ETH Zurich.
He holds the position of Professor of Macroeconomics at Leipzig University.
