HFT is an active, growth-and value-based manager which invest in equity, fixed-income and commodities. Their investment approach is bottom-up and is based on fundamental research and in-depth knowledge of the Chinese markets. The firm is the competence center for Asian ex-Japan Equities, in cooperation with the Hong Kong office of Fortis Investments. They manage balanced funds and Chinese equity portfolios, marginally invested in Hong Kong and Taiwan. HFT invests across market-caps and have expertise in small- and mid-cap equity, favoring sectors such as transportation, telecommunications, technology, health care, pharmaceuticals, energy, utilities and consumer products.

CNAM manages portfolios invested primarily in Chinese securities actively. They manage equity, bonds and money-markets through a range of investment vehicles including pure equity funds, a balanced fund and a money-markets fund. The firm uses a core-satellite strategy. They implemented this strategy by actively managing the satellite portion of the fund, with a focus on good growth potential small- and mid-cap companies, while managing the core portion of the fund passively. CNAM’s investment approach is team-based and research-driven. Their investment decisions are based from the in-house fundamental and quantitative research.
