Mr. King’s experience in trading equity, equity derivative, currency, fixed income, and commodity securities on every developed continent brings to the Fund a unique set of capabilities.
Mr. King was formerly the Head Trader at West Broadway Partners where he was responsible for trading, hedging and managing operational risk; assisting in event arbitrage research; and overseeing trading in the Equity Long / Short Portfolio.
Prior to West Broadway, Mr. King was Vice President of Institutional Arbitrage Sales at Knight / Trimark Securities.
He was also previously a Sales-Trader on the U.S.
Equity Risk Arbitrage Desk at Cathay Financial where he also managed the Asian Euro-Convertible Bond desk.
Before Cathay, Mr. King was a fixed income trader at Commonwealth Associates and worked at BDS Securities, assisting the Distressed and High Yield Trading and Sales Departments.
Mr. King graduated from Williams College in 1993.
