Mr. David Alerhand is a Founding Partner at Galileo Investment Management LLC.
He is a member of the Investment and Risk Committees of Galileo and of its Executive Board.
In 2003, together with Ruben Goldberg, he founded Goldberg, Alerhand & Associates, a boutique investment banking firm specializing in advisory work for companies and family businesses, as well as for cross-border merger and acquisitions and investment advisory.
From 2000 to 2003, he was Director of Deutsche Bank Mexico where he was responsible for developing the investment banking practice of the bank in the region.
Prior to that, from 1992 to 1999, he was Director in NM Rothschild & Sons (México), where he was responsible for origination and execution of a wide range of projects in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, privatizations, placements of private equity, and restructurings.
From 1989 to 1992, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Co. He graduated summa cum laude from ITAM (México) with a degree in Economics, participated in an exchange program at the University of Pennsylvania, and graduated with an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
