Ashim Adebowale Oyekan

Ashim Adebowale Oyekan is currently the Vice Chairman of Bank Directors Association of Nigeria, a Member of Institute of Directors, and a Member of The Association of Consulting Engineering Nigeria.
He has formerly held positions such as Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Debs Foundation Ltd., Group Chairman of LASACO Assurance Plc, Chairman of Lasaco Properties Ltd., Afribank Estate Co. Ltd., and Libra Insurance Brokers Ltd. He has also served as a Director of Afribank Nigeria Plc, Nigerian Cement Co. Plc, and Sokoto-Rima River Basin Development Authority.
Additionally, he has held government positions such as Commissioner of Nigeria Ministry of Environment and Nigeria Ministry of Agriculture & Natural Resources, and Member-Executive Council of Lagos State Government.
Mr. Oyekan has an undergraduate degree from Tufts University, an MBA from Graduate School of Business Administration Zürich, and a graduate degree from the University of California.
