Cindy F. Leeper

As Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel, Cindy oversees all of BE’s legal, finance, HR, and IT functions and helps to provide strategic leadership for BE’s expanding efforts.
Cindy joined BE from Facebook, where she was most recently focused on helping to build, manage, and operate the global infrastructure business.
This includes long-term financial and annual budget/headcount planning, developing org and project strategies, people development, strategic partnerships, sustainability efforts, and execution of programs and complex cross-company projects.
Prior to her operational experience, Cindy was a corporate lawyer at Facebook, where she handled matters ranging from their IPO, corporate structure, acquisitions, and other regulatory/compliance requirements, and at Latham & Watkins, where she represented public and private companies, underwriters, and venture capitalists in connection with securities offerings and financings, M&A, and securities law compliance.
Cindy received both her BA and JD from the University of Chicago.
She loves coffee and is a staunch supporter of the Oxford comma.
