Dr. Jason Karceski is a Portfolio Manager & Partner at LSV Asset Management.
He joined the firm in 2007 and is responsible for research and portfolio management.
Dr. Karceski’s academic research focuses on equity trading strategies and risk control, the behavior of equity analysts, mutual funds, initial public offerings, bank mergers, and long-run performance measurement.
Dr. Karceski was employed as an Associate Professor by University of Florida.
He started working on research projects with Josef Lakonishok in 1994.

His research has received awards from the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR), Barclays Global Investors (BGI), and Emerald Management Reviews.
He holds B.S in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology in 1990, an MBA from University of North Florida in 1992 and a Ph.D in Finance form the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1997.
