Morris Perlis

Morris Perlis was the founder of Terra Firma Capital Corp.
(founded in 2007) and held the title of Director from 2012 to 2013.
He is currently the President & Chief Executive Officer at Mr. Perlis & Associates and a Director at Jewish Federations of Canada – UIA. In his former positions, Mr. Perlis served as the President & Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz Interactive, Inc., Chief Executive Officer of Amex Bank of Canada, Chairman of UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, and Director at Assante Corp., Sears Canada, Inc., Captiva Verde Industries Ltd., Connors Bros.
Income Fund, Loring Ward International Ltd., The Baycrest Centre Foundation, Associated Brands LP, and DayMen U.S., Inc. He also served as an Independent Director at Heritage Global, Inc. from 2015 to 2020 and as an Executive Vice President at American Express Co. Mr. Perlis was the President of Street Capital Group, Inc. from 1992 to 2001 and the President of American Express Canada, Inc. He was also a Member-Governors Board at Mount Sinai Hospital (Canada).
Mr. Perlis holds an MBA from York University and an undergraduate degree from Concordia University.
