Mamphela Ramphele

Mamphela Aletta Ramphele is the founder of Letsema Circle.
She currently holds several positions as Chairman and Director in firms such as Circle Capital Ventures, Mpilo Investment Holdings 1, Institut Veolia Environnement, The Dinokeng Scenarios, Edu-Loan Pty Ltd., Open Society Foundation of South Africa, and Nelson Mandela Foundation.
In the past, she held positions such as Non-Executive Chairman at Gold Fields Ltd., Co-Chairman at The Global Commission On International Migration, Non-Executive Director at Anglo American Plc, Independent Non-Executive Director at Remgro Ltd., Non-Executive Director at MTN Group Ltd., Non-Executive Director at Mediclinic International Ltd., Managing Director at The World Bank Group, Managing Director at World Bank Institute, and Vice Chancellor at the University of Cape Town.
She obtained a doctorate degree from the University of Natal, the University of Cape Town, and an undergraduate degree from the University of South Africa.
