Kashanek is a Director, Portfolio Manager & Analyst at Lazard Asset Management LLC.
He is on Lazard's Equity Advantage team.
Prior to joining Lazard in 2007, Mr. Kashanek was a Principal and a Portfolio Manager in the Global Active Equity group at State Street Global Advisors (SSgA).
Previously, he was an investment analyst in the Institutional Equity Research Group at Bank of Montreal where he focused on global energy companies.
Prior to that, Mr. Kashanek was an Associate in the Global Equity Research Group at Deutsche Bank Securities.
He also worked at Reliant Energy in Houston as a member of its Corporate Development team.
He began working in the investment field in 1994.
Mr. Kashanek received his BA in Government from St. Lawrence University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Vanderbilt University.
