Omiros Pissarides

Mr. Omiros Pissarides is General Manager at Axia Ventures Group Ltd. From 2005 to 2008, he was the Regional Channel Manager for Middle East, Africa and Pakistan of Nasdaq-quoted Intermec Technologies and, in the period 2002 to 2005, he was the General Manager of Logicom Dubai, heading the operations of the CSE-quoted Logicom Public Ltd across the Gulf Cooperation Council and Pakistan region.
Omiros has also worked for Arthur Andersen during the period 1998 to 2000.
For his results, he was granted a number of performance awards, including Intermec’s Special Achievement Award in 2008.
Mr. Pissarides holds a Bachelor Degree with Honours in Economics and Accounting from Hull University and a Masters in Business Administration from Imperial College.
He has received a number of academic awards, most notably Imperial Colleges’ Joan Woodward memorial prize in 2001.
